Introduction
The Digital Media Ontology 1.0 (DMO) describes a core vocabulary of classes and properties that describe media resources along the entire media value chain (ideas, production, post-production, editing, contribution, distribution and archive). The DMO also includes links to similiar classes and properties of other existing ontologies, such as EBUCore-RDF, FOAF, DBPedia, DublinCore etc. The purpose of these links is to provide metadata representations that describe the characteristics and behaviour of media resources in an interoperable manner, thereby enabling different applications to share and reuse these metadata.

You can find the current DMO version here.
